For over 30 years, TUgis Conference has provided the regional GIS community with engaging sessions, hands-on training, and networking opportunities.

Registration price includes access to all activities at the conference, except training sessions. Training sessions are offered for an additional cost of $30 for half-day sessions and $60 for full-day sessions.


This year’s conference will be held August 10-13.

Gratis ticketing

Many in our community are experiencing fiscal challenges. Gratis tickets are available for anyone who is furloughed, recently unemployed, or whose organization has instituted a policy that will not pay for conferences. TUgis is a great way for university students to connect with the GIS community. $5.00 tickets are available for current students. NOTE: To receive this discount, send an email to, before you register.

Attendee refund policy: Refunds will be issued up to 7 days before the event. If for some reason Towson University is closed and TUgis is cancelled due to that closure, full refunds will be issued for conference and training registrations. TUgis regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. The TUgis Advisory Committee will make every attempt to reschedule the event.
