Bill Dollins is Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Spatial Networks, Inc. and spent 15 years as a partner at Zekiah Technologies in La Plata, Maryland. A lifelong Maryland resident, he sits on the Maryland Council for Open Data, helps organize the Southern Maryland GIS User Group, and is a part-time professor in the Geography Department at Salisbury University. Mr. Dollins is a programmer with diverse experience in geospatial information systems and application development. A primary focus over the course of his career has been the integration of geospatial tools and methodologies into mainstream information architectures, and he has implemented geospatial systems for government, commercial, and non-profit organizations. He is equally comfortable with commercial and open-source technologies and takes pleasure in fusing them to create systems tailored to users’ needs.
